“Ace, hello,” Garret said.
Many guards and others were in the throne room.
“Hello sir,” Ace said.
Garret said, “I've spoken to some animal mystics. They say animal curses are cropping up. They say that the lightning surges are connected to the curses. Dissipating the lightning surges hasn't yet been solved and more are appearing.
“Rit scientists are expecting big earthquakes, storms, and lightning surges all over. Tranquil may need to be evacuated at some point.
“To turn these curses around we need to form strong animal alliances as well as nature alliances. I will have your team helping toward that.”

Ace slept in a room in the castle.
Many in the convoy returned to their homes while in Rivers.
Chapter 4
A knock at the door woke Ace.
It was dark.
Ace opened the door.
A guard stood there.
“Sir, the leader would like to see you.”
Ace said, “Alright.”
Ace slipped on some shoes. A clock told him that it was four AM.
He followed the guard to the throne room.

Chapter 1
The convoy arrived in Rivers, Tranquil by way of their flying vehicle.
They went into the city castle.
Chapter 2
Garret Save welcomed the diplomat convoy into the throne room.
“The animal curse that is occurring in Crier is expected to begin occurring in many places, sir,” Ace said. “There is talk of these being some very severe curses. We must give offerings to all animals around Tranquil.”
“We will begin preparing to do so,” Garret said.

Chapter 3
Ace went to a washroom; he approached a mirror.
His form changed before his eyes.
His dinosaur form had returned.
“Hello,” came Core's voice in Ace's head. “Transformer, we have a problem. The animal curses that you've been hearing about are quickly going to get much worse in many places. Here in Ever is one of them. You must warn the leaders and get out of here. There could be lightning surges or very bad storms here at any time.”
Ace asked Core psychically, “Should we stay to try to dissipate the curse before it's upon Rit? I could try communicating with animal elders around here.”
Core said, “Best just to evacuate for now.”
Chapter 4
Ace found Conan, Rit's leader.
Ace explained the going-ons and about the animal curse to Conan.
“My convoy and I are going to leave for Tranquil for now,” Ace said. “I'd recommend you evacuate if needed; all are welcome in Tranquil. The lightning surges might be connected to the animal curses. Now I'm hearing they could get much worse all over the place. I'm worried, sir.”
“We’ll face this head-on,” Conan said. “Thank you for your advisings. Keep in contact, diplomat.”

Chapter 1
In the city of Ever, Rit.
There was a celebration going on in the city castle (and around the world).
The world revamp campaign to provide free medical care and treatment to all people in all places was working spectacularly.
Rit was sending out, selling, loaning medical robots that were able to help people heal.
The nations of the world were collaborating to provide free medical care and treatment to all.

Ace was dazed. His form had changed. He was a half-rabbit version of himself.
“You're well?” Glade asked.
“Another new transformation,” Ace said, inspecting himself. “I saw a bunch of rabbits appearing.”
“Perhaps doings of the animal curse,” Loni said.
Chapter 4
The group began their leave of the tunnels.
Ace saw a big rabbit again.
He heard a voice in his head, “Transformer you're a half-rabbit now. I'm Griffin, the rabbit in front of you. You and animals cam communicate psychically when you're in your half-rabbit form.
“There are many animal curses on the brink of occurring. Present offerings to all animals in all lands. Give them luxuries.”

The group came upon an entrance into a network of tunnels.
The tunnels were large enough to walk through.
The group entered the tunnels.
Chapter 2
They left the offerings after going so far into the tunnels.
Blankets, food, drinks, pillows, et cetera.
“We might come back with more offerings,” Loni said.
A very large rabbit walked by the group.
Ace looked over at the rabbit. As it walked along he saw more and more rabbits appearing all over the place. He blinked.

At Loni's residence.
Ace and the Tranquil diplomat convoy were there.
‘“We are going to leave offerings for some of the elder rabbits,” Loni said. “Some live in nearby tunnels. Thanks for your support truly.”

They carried the offerings.
They got in the convoy's rented carts; the rented horses dragged the carts along.
Loni pointed the way from the front cart.

“We will go to the areas of the animal elders and take them offerings.”

Ace came upon a conversation between a few people.
“Nice to meet you,” one of them said to Ace.
“I have read about such things extensively,” one of them was saying. He looked at Ace and said, “I am talking about a curse. I am an animal mystic from HerbFields.”
He went on, “This could be such a case. There could be an animal curse occurring around HerbFields.”
“What is an animal curse?” Ace asked.
“It is when most of the people of a land become cursed, caused by all animal life around. Most here in HerbFields have seemed down and dazed the past many days. I wonder if there is an animal curse occurring.”

The animal mystic introduced himself as Loni.
“How can an animal curse be broken?” One of them asked Loni.
“It depends,” Loni said. “Animal life and the nature might need better treatment.”

Glade and Julia wandered and socialized.
Maya, the leader of Crier, gave a speech to the room.
Maya was a half-rabbit. She was frowning.
She said, “Thank you for coming. We appreciate your all being here. We celebrate tonight; tomorrow we coordinate towards the world revamp. Enjoy yourselves.”

Glade said to Julia in a low tone of voice, “Many seem to be frowning. Many of the half-rabbits.”
Julia looked around.

Chapter 1
In a busy ballroom.
A party was going on.
It was in the city palace in HerbFields, the capital of the nation of Crier.
There was a world revamp meeting going on there.
The world revamp had been very successful so far; the party was to celebrate this.
The revamp campaign that Crier was leading was making more peace with all animal life.
Chapter 2
The Tranquil diplomat convoy was at the party.
They'd been in HerbFields for a couple of days. They were taking part in the world revamp meeting.
Ace socialized with others. He talked with Aero, the diplomat of Weregoyle.
“The world revamp is coming along,” Aero said. “We have released all our prisoners in Weregoyle I hope you've heard.”
“Good to hear; that effort is going well,” Ace said.
“Arcville leads us in achieving free medical care and treatment for all people in all places,” Aero said. “Helenia leads us in providing more free inns in countless places in all nations.”
Ace said, “We're getting great improvements now.”
“As we need to be,” Aero said.

Glade and Julia were swimming in one of the castle's pools.
“You're liking your work with the convoy?” Glade asked Julia.
“It is more frightening than I expected,” Julia said. “I am enjoying it though.”
Chapter 2
The pair swam around the pool.
“I can't believe about the lightning surges in Raydia,” Julia said. “The nation is still evacuated. Apparently many more surges are appearing around there.”
“I hope some scientists learn how to dispel the surges,” Glade said.
“Rit scientists might save the day,” Julia said.

In one of the castle's studies.
Garret and Ace were lounging and drinking in the study.
A fireplace was roaring.
“Grand-books must be important,” Garret said. “I am sending groups to Bohemoth to get as many grand-books as they can. I'm also getting them to hire some grand-book crafters to come do their work for Tranquil. I want us to be on the forefront of grand-books.”

A knock at the door of the room Ace was staying in.
Ace opened the door.
A guard was there.
“The leader requests your presence diplomat,” the guard said.

In the throne room.
It was eveningtime.
The room was empty except for Garret who was sitting at a table. A few books were on the table.
“Sir,” Ace said.
Chapter 4
“I have had an odd experience,” Garret said. “I started reading one of those grand-books. I woke up later hearing voices. A voice has repeatedly been talking in my head. Where did you get those grand-books?”
“I saw an ad for grand-books for sale in Gravel, Bohemoth. It was on a ship. They had quite a few grand-books. I got one myself.”
“Did it give you any trouble?” Garret asked.
“That it did. I transformed into a dinosaur form. A day later I returned to my human form. I was hearing a voice as well. The grand-book seems to want to team up with me. Did you transform?”
“I didn't,” Garret said. “The voice has quieted just as of late. It also said that I and it are partners. ‘Trouble ahead’, whatever that means.”
“Something about those grand-books,” Ace said.
The room went quiet.

Rivers, Tranquil's capital.
In the city castle’s throne room.
Garret Save, the leader of the nation, welcomed the Tranquil diplomat convoy.
“How do you fare after your journeys?” Garret asked.
“Good,” Ace said. “Things have been going smoothly enough.”
Ace gave Garret the grand-books the convoy had got for him.
Glade gave Garret some other artifacts they'd picked up along the way.
“The diplomat convoy will be sent out again in a month,” Garret said.

The convoy rested.

The werewolves negotiated with the Weregoylians.
A transformer said to Rose, “The werewolves need shelter, guarantee of food and water, liquor and other luxuries. They don't mind helping with any work, such as physical labour.”
“These will be granted,” Rose said.
Some moments passed and the same transformer continued talking to Rose, “The werewolves also need the same conditions granted to all wolves in Weregoyle. The wolves will need societies too. They say that this is a must.”
Rose thought about thus.
A few of the werewolves were growling steadily.
Chapter 2
Rose eventually said, “Okay, we will grant those conditions to all wolves in Weregoyle.”
Some of the werewolves bowed after this was communicated.
The transformer said, “The werewolves thank you all for your kindness. They say they will return to the citadel peacefully in one week to see how the society updates are progressing.”
Rose said, “Thank you. We will work to have everything ready for you all very soon.”

The citadel guards and scientists got out their stun-bows and began shooting stun-energy at the werewolves.
The werewolves, who were in the hundreds, stunned almost all of the citadel's dwellers.
The werewolves went toward the citadel upper levels.
Chapter 4
In the citadel's top floor meeting room; those inside had their stun-guns raised at the doors.
Werewolves burst through the room's doors.
“Wait,” Rose hollered. “What are your requests werewolves?”
Some of the transformers in the room conveyed this to the werewolves through psychic messages.

“Werewolves approaching,” guards called throughout the citadel.
“There are very many of them,” some of the guards said.
Chapter 2
The werewolves began to enter the citadel.
Guards and transformers were there to greet them.
The werewolves could create stun-energy from their mouths. They did so and began stunning all of the citadel dwellers around them.

In Weregoyle there were many wolf-people.
The werewolves wanted luxuries and rights similar to those of humans, wolf-people, et cetera.
The group spread out in the citadel.
At the top of the citadel's interior was a sizable meeting room.
A fire was made in the fireplace.

In Weregoyle, in a city called Gates.
The Tranquil diplomat convoy had arrived to meet with the city leader, Rose.
Rose welcomed them into the city palace's throne room.
Chapter 2
“Thank you for coming,” Rose said. “We are having some strife with werewolves in the wildlands of Weregoyle. We are negotiating a pace treaty with them. We have a meeting in a day that will hopefully end all aggressions.
“The werewolves do psychic messages so we have transformers communicate with them that way.
“I want you to come to the peace treaty meeting with us. Your presence and the presence of fish-people from Tranquil among the talks may assure them some.”

He heard a voice: ‘Hello transformer. I am what you are reading; I'm the grand-book. I am known as Core.’
Ace looked around.
The others in the suite were resting.
Ace, bewildered, stared at the book.
‘I will travel with you,’ Core communicated. ‘You will go back to your original form soon; my form could return at any point.
‘There is trouble ahead, transformer. We will work together if anything arises.’

The convoy returned to the dock and checked the other docks in Gravel. The Wind's Sail wasn't around.

“Shall we leave for there tomorrow?” Glade asked.

The convoy went back to the dock, went to where they had found the Wind's Sail.
The ship was gone.

The convoy went to the inn and lounged in their suites.

It was Glade knocking on the washroom's door.
“I've transformed,” Ace said. “It's some new form for some reason.”
Glade said nothing.
“It could be that grand-book affecting me,” Ace said.

“Transformers don't usually have more than one other version do they?” Glade asked.
“Not that I'm aware of,” Ace said. “Perhaps it's just a temporary effect of the book. I'll go ask Bell in the morning.”

Ace woke up.
It was three AM.
He breathed; his senses returning to him.
He sat and stood up from the bed.
Ace went to the suite's washroom.
Chapter 4
Ace felt sluggish.
He flicked on the washroom light.
He saw himself in the mirror. He had green scaly flesh. His face was completely different. He had a long green snout and beady black eyes. He looked like a human-sized dinosaur.
“What the?” Ace gasped though it came out with a growl.

The convoy returned to the inn they were staying at.
Ace sat at a desk and began reading ‘Legends of Corterrum’.
Chapter 2
The stories, legends, myths had been translated.
Ace read a few of the myths. They revolved around nature wreaking havoc.
He read a legend of a hero that predicted storms accurately for many years.
After reading for an hour Ace turned off the desk lamp and went to bed.

In a cluttered room.
The ship swayed and creaked.
A man with black hair and a square jaw welcomed them.
“What are you looking for?” The man asked. “My name is Bell.”
“I have some grand-books I'm looking for,” Ace said.
Ace showed Bell a list.
“I have four of the grand-books on your list,” Bell said. “I'll get them for you.”
Chapter 4
Ace saw a book on a shelf with a blue and yellow spine.
He took it off the shelf.
‘Legends of Corterrum’ was the title on the cover.
He read part of the book's description on the first page: ‘Myths, legends, stories from ancient days of the planet’.
Bell had the four requested grand-books on a table.
“Is this a grand-book?” Ace asked, indicating at ‘Legends of Corterrum’.
“It is,” Bell said.
“What will its effect be?” Ace asked.
“It will likely increase your physical strength. Effects sometimes vary depending on the reader.”
“I'll get this one as well,” Ace said.

The city was named Gravel.
At the docks. It was nighttime.
The Tranquil diplomat convoy was looking for a certain ship.
They were in the nation of Bohemoth.
“Here it is,” Glade said. “The Wind's Sail.”
They looked at the extravagant ship.
“Let's go on,” Ace said.
Chapter 2
The convoy boarded the ship.
“Who goes there?” A crewman bellowed.
“I'm a buyer,” Ace said. “I heard about the grand-books you have for sale. I'm interested.”
The crewmen around eyed Ace and the others.
One crewman said, “We'll show you to the books.”
Ace and some from the convoy were led to the lower decks.

Ace and the Tranquil diplomat convoy now had their own flying vehicle.
There was enough room for all of the convoy’s thirty-eight members on the ship.
“Lou said the vehicle could be voice-controlled,” Glade said. “Vehicle, fly out of Raydia.”
Chapter 4
Raydia was being evacuated; their scientists were reconsidering how to deal with the lightning surges.
After messaging Garret, the leader of Tranquil, Ace received the convoy's next assignment.

The fifteen flying vehicles turned around from the lightning surge. They flew back toward Web.
The vehicles landed in the field near the city palace with the other flying vehicles.

“What is going on?” Lou asked Omen.
“On our radars a thousand or more lightning surges appeared as you folks were using those lightning attractors,” Omen said.
“What in the,” Lou said, inspecting radars that Omen was showing him.
“I'm guessing we need a new solution,” Omen said.

The flying vehicles approached a lightning surge area.
Lightning surges were areas with constant and heavy lightning storms going on.
The ships stopped near a surge.
The lightning attractors were activated.
Chapter 2
The lightning surge remained.
Lou ordered more flying vehicles to join them.
Ten more vehicles with lightning attractors appeared.
All the ships activated their lightning attractors.
The lightning surge still remained.
“Let's get some more flying vehicles up here,” Lou said.
A voice came on the intercom, “Lou, we have a problem. Hundreds more lightning surges have just been appearing on our radars.”

Omen, one of Raydia’s scientists, was saying to the crowds (speaking into a megaphone), “Lightning surges are in the thousands in Raydia now. There is a likely possibility that the lightning surges will begin appearing in many more or all other nations. Surges are appearing in a few other nations recently.”
“Doesn't sound good,” Julia said.
“No it doesn't,” Ace said.

Five flying vehicles rose into the sky; on them were Lou and other Raydians.
The vehicles flew out of sight.

Lou took the faction and others to a field near the palace. Hundreds were in the group.
There were many flying vehicles in the field.
“Each nation in the faction can have one or two of these,” Lou said.
Flying vehicles were generally prohibited on Corterrum to safeguard the planet.
“We have the clearance,” Lou went on. “With faction business and whatnot we'll have these to assist us.”
