Chapter 5
The shootout was fierce.
The faction’s front lines mostly fell to being stunned.
Some of Lou's team went in to carry some of the faction's stunned away.
Jemma from Spirit Island fired steadily, dodging instinctively.
Ace's form changed. His hair turned blue; his eyes glowed blue.
He fired stun-blasts and reloaded. When a stun-blast came his way he saw it coming in slow-motion and moved away.
The ghost-mechs fired stun-energy on the faction with high precision.
The faction had plenty of stunned.
The ghost-mechs in the corridor were outnumbered.
The faction deactivated all the mechs.
Chapter 6
The faction advanced into the throne room.
Inside the throne room were a few dozen ghost-mechs with stun guns pointed at the open doors.
“Hello,” Ace said. “We've come to help. Please let's talk.”
