Chapter 1

Glade and Julia went to a restaurant near the castle.

They sat at a table.

Julia asked, “How is the new diplomat getting by?”

“He is doing well,” Glade said. “The assignments have been hard lately. I warn you sometimes things can get tense.”

“I'm trained to handle stun-guns,” Julia said. “I hope I will not bother your convoy much.”

“It will be a delight having you with us. You'll be doing articles?”

“Yes. I'm looking forward to it.”

Chapter 2

“Where have you been writing?” Glade asked Julia.

“For a media outlet,” Julia said. “I will still write for them some. My diplomat convoy articles will be in many media outlets, in many nations.”

“I will read some of your articles when I get the chance,” Glade said.

“Are you a fan of paintings?” Julia asked.

“I am. I love paintings.”

“There are some in the castle you must see. I was astounded by them.”

“I would like to see them,” Glade said.
