Chapter 5

Part of the convoy entered the throne room.

Cassius said, “Good day, Ace and company. You heard about the wildfires.”

“We did,” Ace said.

“The dragons of the mountains set off wildfires unwittingly at times,” Cassius said. “I've sent teams to dispel the fires. 

“This time the fires are large. Winter approaches that might put them out. Winter is a month or two away though. 

“We have gotten rid of a few of the fires but a number of them remain. One isn't too far from Aura.

“We're doing our best but I don't know if we can stop the fires.”

Chapter 6

Evening drew upon them.

Ace and the convoy agreed to visit Cassius the next day.

Cassius thanked them.
