Chapter 5
The carts came to a stop by a lake. The groups climbed out.
A wintery spring day.
“You'll be alright in the cool water?” Marcus asked Ace.
“Yes,” Ace said.
Ace and the fish-people in the Tranquil diplomat convoy went along.
The rest stayed by the lake.
Marcus and his convoy were all fish-people.
Ace transformed into his blue-haired, blue-eyed form. He followed others into the water.
Chapter 6
The group swam towards the lake's depths.
Marcus led them.
They came to the lake's floor.
They swam along.
