Val's ship was over a city. She was steering it toward a ship-port.
She used the radio to ask for landing clearance from the port's tower.
A response came, “A few ships ahead of you, standby.”
Chapter 4
Val watched vessels with Crier flags lower down into the port.
A voice from the radio, “You're cleared to land now.”
