Chapter 1
Earl, half-cat law-person in Pillar, came upon groups disputing with one another, stun-bows raised.
He dismounted his horse; his stun-bow came out.
Many of those disputing were rabbit-people. Earl tried to calm them.
Stun-bows began going off.
Earl's instincts then guided him through stunning all the stun-bow wielders in sight.
Twenty rabbit-people were on the ground stunned.
Chapter 2
Earl went to the next streets.
