Chapter 3
Glade and others from the convoy arrived by Ace's side.
They fed him water; they encouraged and calmed him.
“The surge is pushing back,” Julia said. “They'll be able to dissipate it.”
“Use your strength Ace,” Glade said.
Chapter 4
The lightning surge outside of Pillar had dissipated some. It was still massive.
Ace had some hope. He held the surge, also fearing he would lose focus and lose sway of the surge.
