“Our nation has faced much strife,” Tanner said. “To release the prisoners takes time. The nation has just re-opened.”
“Sir Gaia uses very short-term house arrests for any issues. House arrest sentences that last about a day or a week. Most countries have adopted this system. It has worked well.
“The less-fear psychology of none to short-term house arrests deeply improves a nation and its quality of life. Please sir, you have mass riots on your hands. Join the rest of the nations. Announce immediate release of all prisoners in Shadow.”
Tanner was silent.
“Sir?” Calvin.
“I see your point,” Tanner said. “I will announce immediate abolishment of imprisonment in Shadow. And arrange for the release of all.”

Calvin and the convoy returned to the inn they were staying at.
