Chapter 1
Eveningtime.
Fog enveloped the city of Pillar.
Earl, half-cat lawman, was riding his horse along the streets.

He’d heard news of the nature curses expected to strike more nations soon. These included Oasis and Bohemoth. Word was that temperatures were extremely high in Weregoyle and Rit. Heat gear had to be worn by all in Weregoyle.
Earl supposed all nations would evacuate to the north again if they could.
Chapter 2
Gemini, the nation Pillar was in, was a northern nation of Corterrum.
So far there was no word of the nature curses appearing in Gemini.
