Chapter 1
Using symbols Seto communicated to the dragons, “The nature curses have begun returning around some locations of Corterrum. We’re worried they might return in High Point. The curses could be worse this time some are saying. The leader of High Point has sent me to ask the dragons if they will help us evacuate the nation if needed.
“Our vehicles are mostly grounded now because it is use of fossil fuels, oil that is causing the nature curses to return. The leader has told me to express that we will give the dragons any luxuries we can for all times if you can assist us with this.”
The dragons pondered. They looked at one another; exchanged symbols. Moments passed.
One of the dragons turned to Seto and conjured symbols, “We will help you evacuate if needed. Perhaps the dragons will need to evacuate as well. We accept your offer of luxury gifts and thank you. If signs appear of the curses returning around here come and summon us Seto.”
Chapter 2
The group left Waterfall Peak.
The horses trudged down the paths with the carts behind them.
