Chapter 7

“Nice to meet you,” Ace, Glade, and Julia said.

“Please have supper with Julia to get acquainted,” Garret said.

Ace said, “Sir, I have an urgent matter to discuss with you.”

“Alright,” Garret said. “You and I will have supper together. Glade please give Julia the run-down of some of your assignments lately.”

“I will,” Glade said.

Glade and Julia left.

Chapter 8

Ace went to one of the castle’s dining rooms with Garret.

They sat.

Meals were served.

“You've done a fine job,” Garret said.

“Thank you sir,” Ace said. “Sir, while we were on Spirit Island we ran into an ordeal. We had to help the Spiriters; the world was on the verge of a mask crisis. 

“The Maskers wanted to use the ancient and supernatural masks for experiments. This has been warned against for centuries as you know. We worked with some Spiriters to stop the mask crisis. Very many Spiriters had already been jailed though.

“I told Tarver, the leader of the Maskers and of Spirit Island, that he should release all of Spirit Island’s prisoners. I told him we in Tranquil were releasing all of our prisoners and that Spirit Island should do the same. That we would be a symbol for the world.

“Before we left Tarver agreed to release all of Spirit Island’s prisoners. He did release them all. 

“I feel that it is very important that Tranquil do the same. We helped solve the mask crisis and I truly believe that we must do this for the world.

“We must release all our prisoners.”
